PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Sensory- Friendly Events
Our sensory-friendly events are designed so that autistic children and their families can enjoy community, celebration, and connection without the overwhelm.

We are partnering with local businesses to create a calm, welcoming space with lower noise, softer lights, and judgement-free zones where kids can be themselves. Whether it's movie night, holiday celebration, or hands-on play, these events are built for joy, not stress, for the whole family.

Camp
Many autistic children want to participate in the summer camps experiences as their neurotypical peers, playing outside, making crafts, making friends, and exploring new activities. Traditional camp settings can be overwhelming without the right support.

The Orion Circle wants to bridge that gap. A 1:1 aide is a trained support person who stays with the child during camp, helping them regulate, communicate, and engage in activities.

We're not working to change the child, we're changing the environment to meet their needs.

School Outreach
We believe inclusion starts with understanding. Through our outreach program, we want to connect with educators, counselors, school staff, and students to build more supportive environments for neurodiverse children.

Advocacy & Support
We may not be expert, but we're parents and community members who get it. At The Orion Circle, advocacy means showing up to help families navigate IEP meeting, find local resources, or simply feel heard when the system falls short.

We stand beside families as they advocate for their children's rights in schools, camps, and community spaces. Sometimes that means sharing what we've learned, offering encouragement, or helping prepare for tough conversations.
